Apprenticeships

It starts with a job! Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training and formal classroom instruction, all while earning an hourly wage from the employer.
Each skilled trade apprenticeship has different standards and requirements for the application and length of the training period. Construction workers, electricians, ironworkers, plumbers, and roofers are examples of trades that offer apprenticeships.
Quick Facts

The starting wage is the average based on various trades.

Each apprenticeship includes health, time off, and retirement benefits.

Women and minorities are highly encouraged to apply!
